We will set sail from Puerto Deseado, we will sail south to Puerto San Julián, since they were there for several months waiting for the weather to improve.

We’ll remember the execution of the mutiny that the rest of the Naos attempted, we’ll walk through the area where they tried to hunt, and we’ll head to the Strait of Magellan. We will stop in Punta Arenas, where we will have an event. Here we will visit the Punta Arenas Naval Museum.

STAGE 7. PUNTA ARENAS – CHILOÉ

We’ll sail through the mythical Strait of Magellan, we’ll feel how complicated it is to go up this pass and we’ll visit some fjords and places where the expedition members had to anchor.
Remember that it took them more than a month to cross the Strait of Magellan alone (150 miles), to its mouth at Cabo Deseado. We’ll sail north until we reach the Chiloé archipelago, the last stronghold of the Spaniards in the area.

STAGE 8. CHILOÉ – CALBUCO – COCHAMÓ

We will sail from Calbuco towards the mountain range through the Reloncaví estuary, accompanying the filming of a documentary about the tradition of local navigation.

We’ll go by float with a Chiloé sailboat to Cochamó. There we will walk through the forest to this well-known but remote climbing spot, where access by boat is much more expeditious than by land.

STAGE 9. CHILOÉ. PTO. MONTT – GALA – PTO. MONTT

We will set sail from Pto. Montt heading south to Pto. Gala from where we will take a tour visiting the sailing schools of southern Chile. We’ll get to know the archipelago with the locals, delving into the history, manufacture and tradition of Chiloé sailing.

We will sail in a fleet through Pto. Gala, Quellón, Chonchi, Mechuque and Quemchi accompanying these rustic ships until we reach the “Nautical Meeting of Calbuco”, where we will share with sailors from all over and we will be able to participate in this self-managed nautical-artistic festival.

STAGE 10. CHILOÉ – TAHITI

We will set sail from the island of Chiloé, we will sail through the Chacao channel, with currents of up to 9 knots and tide amplitude of 8 meters.

We will go up the Pacific, taking advantage of the Humboldt Current until we reach the trade winds towards French Polynesia. We’ll arrive in Tahiti and visit the volcanic island of Morrea.

We will hold an event on site.
