PROPOSAL
We will set sail with our sailboat El Doblón from Valdivia, in the Los Ríos Region, where
you will be able to enjoy the charming Calle-Calle River and the picturesque town before boarding.
• You will sail south along the Chilean coast, admiring amazing landscapes
coastal beaches and lonely beaches.
• We will pass through the magical archipelago of Chiloé, known for its wooden churches,
vibrant markets and the rich Chiloé culture.
Shortly after, we will enter the
challenging and exciting Gulf of Penas, sailing through open waters before
enter the fjords.
• After crossing the Gulf of Penas, we will enter the Patagonian channels, exploring
the remote and captivating Messier Channel.
We will sail between stunning fjords and
glaciers, including the serene Eyre Fjord Sound, famous for its natural beauty and
tranquility, and the majestic Pius XI glacier, the largest in South America, located in the
Magallanes Region.
• We will continue our journey through the canals and fjords until we reach the legendary
Strait of Magellan, culminating the trip in Punta Arenas, the southernmost city of
Chile, known for its rich history and as a gateway to Antarctica.
• During this journey, you will have the opportunity to observe a fascinating variety of
Marine and terrestrial fauna: humpback and blue whales, southern and Chilean dolphins, sea lions
marine penguins, Magellanic penguins, seabirds, leopard seals and otters (otters)
endemic).
This adventure not only offers breathtaking natural landscapes, but also a
rich biodiversity in one of the most spectacular regions in the world.

THE DOBLÓN
This boat is our home at sea. It has a capacity for 12 passengers and 4 crew, in double cabins, with shared bathrooms. Our dining room is an ideal space to share talks, movies, board games and all our meals. The deck is also a space that we enjoy very much to discover the wonders of the canals.
The Doblón is very well designed. It was designed to sail in icy waters and is prepared to withstand low temperatures. Its size and depth allow us to travel small straits and alternative and unexplored routes. To sail these waters with El Doblón is to feel the adventure of living.
